Our first task was to get the kitchen garden in order  and growing our tasty plants for the season.  Our new gardeners chose a wide range of plants and herbs including strawberries, kale, parsley, tomatoes, potatoes, beetroot and courgettes.

We also planted some plant pesticides – marigolds, tansy and savoury to try and keep the insects at bay!

It was hard to be patient waiting for the goodies to be ready but in the end it was worth the wait for the fantastic harvest… and in between everyone muted on chives, basil, parsley, mint and coriander! but chives were the overall fave!
